Greg Koenig – Consultant
Bringing nearly three decades of experience in the investment management profession, Greg Koenig first began working in the financial services field in 1985. After five years with Merrill Lynch in Bellevue, Washington, he left to start his own firm. Inspired by the problems he had witnessed in the commission-oriented structure at Merrill Lynch, Greg decided to structure his business model on fee-based money management. In 2020, Greg transitioned ownership of the business to Jeff McCullough. He continues to serve as a consultant, providing client advice and investment management guidance.
Clients describe Greg as knowledgeable and trustworthy, saying he has a calm presence in turbulent times. Koenig Investment Advisory clients include a number of current and past presidents and vice presidents of various corporations in the greater Seattle area, where we have maintained a longstanding presence and continue to serve a diverse client base.
In 2003, Greg relocated the business to Medford, Oregon, based on a desire to live in a smaller community. He regularly travels to Seattle, where he meets with current and prospective clients.
Greg holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
A member of the Medford Rogue Rotary and the Southern Oregon University Foundation Board, Greg has a history of giving back to the community.
When he is not working, Greg enjoys traveling with his wife, Allison, and fly-fishing. He is a great lover of the outdoors.
